About me and my Activites

I am Mufti Masud, and my life has been a profound journey from the very heart of religious orthodoxy to becoming an unapologetic advocate for freethinking, secularism, and universal human rights. Originally from Bangladesh, I spent years deeply immersed in the traditional Islamic education system. Having earned the title of "Mufti"—the highest academic degree within this system—and having served as an Imam of a mosque and the principal of a Qawmi madrasa, I know the religious structure from the inside out. I studied its texts, taught its doctrines, and led its institutions. However, this deep immersion ultimately sparked a profound questioning of the dogmas I was tasked with upholding, leading me to walk away from my former life.My transition from a religious leader to an ex-Muslim was born out of a relentless pursuit of truth. I realized that the ideologies I once taught were fundamentally at odds with human dignity. Today, my life’s work is dedicated to spreading humanity, promoting peaceful coexistence, and championing the absolute equality of women through feminism. Having personally overseen a madrasa, I also deeply understand the urgent need for child rights, specifically the right to a modern, scientific education free from forced ideological indoctrination. I believe we must build a world where people are judged by their compassion and character, not by their religious identity. To achieve this vision, I actively fight against political Islam, Jihad, and religious barbarism. Because I use my insider theological knowledge to expose the roots of Islamic terrorism, speaking this truth has come at a severe personal cost. I was arrested by Islamist police officers in the state of West Bengal, India, and was subjected to brutal torture in jail simply for my beliefs and my refusal to stay silent. I am currently undergoing a court trial in India, fighting for my freedom and my fundamental right to free expression.Despite these relentless attempts to break my spirit, my resolve has only grown stronger. The injustice I have endured fuels my dedication to dismantling oppressive ideologies and fighting for those who are silenced by fear and violence. This website is a space for truth, open debate, and vital reform. I invite you to join me on this journey as we stand together for reason, human rights, and a better future.
